Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has finally spoken up on Phil Jones imminent exit from Manchester United, MySportDab reports.

MySportDab understand Phil Jones will leave Manchester United at the end of the season after a disappointing outing for the club of recent.

His four-year contract at the club will run out at the end of the season and he will leave the club.

Speaking of Jones’ imminent exit, Erik Ten Hag said since he joined the club as manager, he has only seen Phil Jones train for only 20 minutes.

The Dutch made the revelation when he was asked of his decision to let Phil Jones leave when his current contract which runs out next month.

He said;

”He has had a great career, what he achieved. Winning the Premier League, winning the FA Cup, winning Europa League, being present at two World Cups.”

Phil Jones is the longest serving Manchester United player but has seen less action in the past three years.

He has only managed five appearances for Manchester United in the last three years and has struggled with fitness issues.

In Erik Ten Hag’s era, Phil Jones was axed off Manchester United matchday squad.

Despite his recent travails at the club, Phil Jones had a glittering early career at Manchester United.

He won the Premier League, Europa League, and FA Cup cup while at the club.

We reported earlier, Jones has sent an open letter to all Manchester United fans outlining his struggles at the club and attempt to make his fans and supporters proud all to no avail.

After Manchester United’s exit, Jones next stop is unclear but it is evident he may likely call time on his first football career soon.
