Liverpool have pulled out of the race to sign prolific Borussia Dortmund mifielder Jude Bellingham, MySportDab reports.

The Reds have been deemed as top favorites to sign the youngster who is currently on the transfer radar of top clubs in Europe.

Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are among the clubs who were battling the Reds on the race to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer.

Now, Daily Mail reports Liverpool have drop off the race as the Reds want to focus their attention on squad rebuild next season.

Jurgen Klopp has been a big fan of Jude Bellingham and the youngster was top on his wishlist to infuse more strength to their ageing midfield.

Now, the club have been forced to the exigency of total squad rebuild next season after a shambolic 2022/23 campaign.

Liverpool’s decision to shelve their interest in Jude Bellingham has been linked to the need for the club to focus more on signing a group players to clear the rot in the team instead of focusing on top signing like Jude Bellingham which could not be ideal in the short run.

The club needs a total revamp and must scout for the best legs across the defense, midfield and attacking roles to stay competitive come next season.

Sources close the club says Liverpool are not ready to foot the cost of signing the 19-year-old on a deal that may likely cost a whooping £100m and above when a number of top talents could be recruited into the squad at the same amount.

Before the game against Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp have disclosed the club’s transfer plans may not suit the interest of the fans next summer – a subtle reference to the decision to abandon the Jude Bellingham race.

Some players that have been linked to Liverpool of recent includes Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher.

Wolves Matheus Nunes is also in the picture, including Fulham’s Joao Paulinha.

The Reds are expected to part ways with Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keitaz and Roberto Firmino at the end of the season and will mob up more funds to pursue top transfer targets in the summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Real Madrid are still in the race to sign Jude Bellingham.
