FT: Manchester United 2-2 Sevilla, Maguire Scored Late Own-Goal! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester United drew the first leg 2-2 against Sevilla in the Europa League, MySportDab reports.

Marcel Sabitzer scored a brace in the match which wasn’t enough as the Old Trafford club dropped a two goal lead.

First Half Report 

The first half had some incredible display coming from both teams who did so much from their end to make something happen which only favored the home side.

Manchester United were brilliant from kickoff which saw them making sure it took them just 14 minutes to score the opening goal which made it 1-0 from Marcel Sabitzer.

Sevilla did a lot from their end to make sure they make a comeback, but it was too difficult for such thing to happen as the game progressed further between both teams for night.

Marcel Sabitzer made it a brace in the 21st minutes of the match thanks to a wonderful teamwork effort which saw Anthony Martial providing the assist to make it 2-0.

Manchester United dominated the first half which saw them heading for the break with a 2-0 advantage against Sevilla who had no match for what they saw.

Second Half Report 

The second half was one which the job was finalized between both teams as the Premier League side came in more determined to make everything works.

Sevilla did well in the early stages of the second half which saw them soaking in all the pressure and doing all in their power to keep the scoreline short.

Manchester United did well enough staying in the game which saw them having to face alot of pressure from their opponent who wanted to make something happen.

The away side pulled one goal back in the 85th minutes of the match which came through Jesus Navas as the scoreline quickly turned into 2-1.

A late stunner from Harry Maguire putting the ball in his own net for an own-goal made the scoreline 2-2 as the game was in the final minutes.

Manchester United couldn’t do the needful as they ended the match with a 2-2 draw against Sevilla which put them in a bad position ahead of the second leg.
