FT: Liverpool 4-3 Tottenham, Reds Grab LATE WIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool grabbed a late win over Tottenham to retain Premier League top four hopes, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half began with Liverpool forcing Spurs back to their own half.

The Reds proved too good for Spurs with an electric start that left the visitors in shambles.

Just three minutes into game, Liverpool’s early pressure yielded result with Curtis Jones with the opening goal.

Jones slot home Arnold’s cross from the back post to give Liverpool an early lead.

Two minutes after Curtis Jones opener, Luis Diaz doubled the lead in the 5th minute to make it 2-0.

Liverpool sank Spurs in the 15th minute with Mo Salah scoring a spot kick to extend the lead.

Romero brought down Gody Gakpo in the box and the penalty was awarded and Salah fired pass Forster to hit the Reds’ third goal.

Liverpool continued to dominate play despite leading by three unreplied goals.

However, Tottenham were able to reduce the deficit in the 39th minute when Harry Kane scored to make it 3-1 before the first half break.

Second Half Report

Liverpool started well in the second half but Tottenham seems to have gotten a foothold of the game than they do in the first half.

Liverpool still continue to pose attacking threats when charging forward but could not replicate the first half magic.

Son scored in the 77th minute to make it 3-2 for the Reds before Richarlison hit a stoppage-time strike to make it 3-3.

It was a near draw, but Diogo Jota salvage a win for the Reds when he hit a last-minute strike in the 90+5th minute secure a 4-3 win for Liverpool after the final whistle.
