Cristiano Ronaldo Reacts to Rudi Garcia Sack!

Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to the sack of Rudi Garcia as the manager of Al-Nassr, MySportDab reports.

The Al-Nassr forward, who was reportedly at loggerheads with the French tactician, broke his silence on Rudi Garcia after the club parted ways with the 54-year-old.

MySportDab understands Rudi came under the wires after the club witnessed a sharp decline in their Saudi Pro League fortunes.

After crashing out of the Saudi Super Cup, losing to arch-rivals Al-Ittihad, the club’s hierachy had hope to stay in pole position to win the league.

But the reverse has been the case following recent dismal run in the league.

Al-Nassr were top of the Saudi Pro League for a while but lost momentum and slipped off the top spot with rivals Al-Ittihad taking over.

For weeks, the club has been trailing Al-Ittihad by a point at the top but things fell out of order when they slipped further down after a barren draw with Al Feiha in their last Saudi Pro League game.

The stalemate draw saw Al-Ittihad open more gap at the top with three points with few games remaining to the end of the season.

According to AS, Cristiano Ronaldo had a strained relationship with Rudi Garcia due the recent poor run in the league which is set to deny him of a chance to land his first major trophy with the club in his first season.

He openly asked the club hierachy to do away with Rudi Garcia and has been in tensed relationship with the former Lyon manager behind the scenes.

After Al Feiha draw, Cristiano Ronaldo left his teammates on the pitch and stormed to the exit tunnel angry.

The Portuguese star is said to be a big influence in the sack of Rudi Garcia and will also have a big role in who will be appointed the next manager.

After Rudi Garcia’s sack, Cristiano reacted immediately with an Instagram post which he wrote;

“Pleasure to have worked with you. Wishing all the best in the future.”

Rudi Garcia was appointed Al-Nassr in June last year and is not up to year before he was axed on the job.

In his 26 games incharge, he has won 18, drawing 5, and losing only 3.
