Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has won the Premier League Save of the Month of February Award, MySportDab reports

De Gea’s clinical saves was key to Manchester United’s incredible Premier League run in February.

The Spaniard was on top of his game, helping Manchester United produce a stunning and scintillating Premier League run in the month.

David de Gea hit a record number of clean sheets, helping United sail pass highly attacking Premier League teams.

Other top goal-stoppers were nominated for the award with Newcastle’s Nick Pope, Liverpool’s Allison Becker, and Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez all slated for the award.

All the nominated goalkeepers produce great and stunning saves to prevent their teams at the dearth from conceding goals.

However, David De Gea’s incredible save Vs Leicester City has emerged as the winner after the Spaniard pulled a last-ditch effort to prevent Manchester United from conceding against Leicester City on February 19 in the Premier League.

Nigeria international Iheanacho had received a cross from the box and was left unmarked inside the box following the cross.

The former Manchester City forward wasted no time but dive and headed the ball to score for the Foxes.

It was a risky save by David de Gea as the Spaniard jumped on the ball and slapped off the ball from nearly crashing himself into the woodwork.

The save made Manchester United ran away with a convincing 3-0 win over Leicester City without conceding a goal.

It was another great display of athleticism, agility, accuracy, speed, and strength by the Manchester United goalkeeper.

Apart from the save against Leicester City, David de Gea has been instrumental to Manchester United’s great run of form in February.

He has helped the team win the Carabao Cup at Wembley, producing a stunning display to deny Newcastle several chances to score a goal.

He also helped the team eliminate Barcelona in the Europa League, making some important saves that gave the Red’s 4-3 aggregate win over the Laliga leaders
