Manchester United have confirmed their squad for the Europa League fixture against Barcelona , MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils will take on Barcelona in a two-legged tie in the Europa League playoffs for a place in round 16 of the competition.

The Red Devils will travel to Nou Camp for the first leg on February 15 before a return to Old Trafford on February 23.

Mirror Football confirms Manchester United have picked their 25-man squad for the two-legged Europa League playoffs clash with Barcelona.

The 25-man was reportedly submitted to UEFA on Tuesday with some major exclusions and new additions.

It has been confirmed some players the club signed in the January transfer window has been added to the list, with other players removed from the squad.

Leading the list of players axed from the 25-man Europa League squad is former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo exited Manchester United after a fallout with the club which led to a termination of his contract , and is now plying his trade with Al-Nassr.

Meanwhile, three players Manchester United signed on the January transfer window has been added to the 25-man squad. They include Jack Butland, Marcel Sabitzer, and Wout Weghorst.

Players dropped from the squad to make way for the new additions in the squad in include Cristiano Ronaldo, Axel Tuanzebe and Martin Dubravka.

Despite submitting the list to UEFA, there are reports home-grown players like Anthony Elanga can still be selected for the competition although he is not included in the squad.

The three players that have been removed from the squad are currently not playing for Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr as a free agent after his Manchester United contract was terminated.

Tuanzebe has left Old Trafford for a long spell at Championship side Stoke City following his return from injury.

Butland joined Manchester United from Crystal Palace and is taking the place of Dubravka, whose loan spell was called off by Newcastle United.

Marcel Sabitzer takes the place of injured Christian Eriksen, who is sidelined for three months following a harmstring injury picked up in Man United’s FA Cup win over Reading.
