FT: Liverpool 2-0 Everton, Cody Gakpo STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool bounce back with a comfortable victory beating Everton 2-0, MySportDab reports.

Cody Gakpo finally scored his first goal for the Reds in the English Premier League since making his move.

First Half Report 

Only one goal was scored in the first half as both teams did well enough going forward with plenty of opportunities coming through.

Everton started well coming off their amazing victory against Arsenal which was the first game for Sea Dyche to take charge after Frank Lampard sacking.

Liverpool dominated the whole game from start which saw them doing more of the creating of opportunities but they couldn’t make anything happen from their end.

Mohamed Salah scored the opening goal of the match in the 36th minutes of the match which made the scoreline 1-0 in favor of the Reds as they continued.

The first half came to an end with the only goal scored which saw Liverpool heading for the break with a 1-0 lead against Everton after 45 minutes between them.

Second Half Report 

The second half was a similar showdown in the 45 minutes which saw a lot coming from the home side who looked better than their opponent.

Everton did a lot from their end but it wasn’t looking like their night as nothing worked out for them despite everything put together going forward.

Liverpool doubled their advantage in the 49th minutes as Cody Gakpo gets his first goal since making the move to Premier League which made the scoreline 2-0.

The match cooled down after the second goal which both teams unable to make any further addition while they entered the added minutes left to be played against each other.

The match ended with Liverpool taking all three points from the much needed 2-0 victory against Everton after 90 minutes of football and added time was played between themselves.
