FT: Salernitana 1-2 AC Milan, Rafael Leao STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Rafael Leao scored as AC Milan resume their Serie A win a victory 1-2 against Salernitana, MySportDab reports.

A good display from the Portuguese international following the conclusion from the World Cup saw the player making his comeback with a goal.

First Half Report 

The game started well with Salernitana giving a good account of themselves at the back knowing they were up against the Champions of the League.

AC Milan had to wait until the 10th minutes to score the opening goal which came from Rafael Leao from a good buildup before he finished off to make it 0-1.

The game progressed further with so much more happening as the assist maker for the opening goal Sandro Tonali doubled the advantage for his side 0-2 in the 15th minutes.

Salernitana carried on reshaping things at the back but they were unable to make anything happen as the match carried on with a lot more opportunities but nothing to celebrate about.

AC Milan went inside for the breaking with a 0-2 scoreline after 45 minutes which saw them dominating play and doing everything possible to make the goals happen.

Second Half Report 

The second half had more action coming from both teams who continued giving all their possible best going forward in the early minutes of the 45 minutes.

Salernitana had little to offer as their creativity was lacking and not enough ball was feed to their strikers who had to come back to defend in a couple of occasion.

Brahim Diaz scored in the 58th minutes for AC Milan, but unfortunately VAR had to come in play and decided agaist awarding the goal which was canceled as things carried on.

Federico Bonazzoli pulled one goal back in the 83rd minute of the game to give his side Salernitana a consolation goal as they made it 1-2 entering the final minutes.

The match came to an end with AC Milan claiming all three points from a 1-2 victory which was almost taken away from them in the encounter.
