First, he led the team to mock the Mbappe by observing a sarcastic minute of silence for Mbappe, whose heroics in the final did not pay off.

When Argentina arrived Bueno Aires in Argentina for the final lap of the celebration, Emiliano Marinez , was again spotted holding a baby doll with the face of Kylian Mbappe.

His antics while celebrating the World Cup victory has sparked reactions with his club manager Unai Emery pledging to call him to order when he retuned to the team.

French media have blasted the celebrations as disrespectful and insulting to Kylian Mbappe and French football.

Meanwhile, Mbappe who remained silent in the midst of the row, has finally spoken about the provocative celebrations.

Speaking after PSG’s 2-1 win over Strasbourg yesterday, Kylian Mbappe said;

‘I won’t waste any energy on such futile things’

“I spoke with Messi after the game a little bit. I congratulated him because it was the quest of a lifetime for him – for me too – but I failed, and you always have to be a good sportsman,”

“But celebrations are not my problem; I won’t waste any energy on such futile things. The most important thing for me is to give my best for my club.

We are waiting for Léo to come back so we can start winning games and scoring goals again.”
