FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco, Croatians Seal Bronze Medal In Qatar 2022 (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Croatia claims Bronze medal in Qatar 2022 after beating Morocco 2-1, MySportDab reports.

The two nations deserved the 3rd place title so badly, but only one team was meant to carry the day for the encounter.

First Half Report 

It was an incredible first half of the encounter which saw both teams starting off with high pace as they made something happen along the way.

Croatia started the game perfectly as they scored the opening goal in the 7th minutes of the match after a powerful header from Josko Gvardiol with assist from Ivan Perisic made it 1-0.

Morocco didn’t waste any much time in coming back level after a freekick from Hakim Ziyech saw Achraf Dari finishing off from the scraps to make the scoreline 1-1 in the 9th minutes.

The game continued to spring in more action as they approach the end of the 45 minutes which saw Mislav Orsic netting in the 42nd of the encounter to restore the lead 2-1.

The first half of the encounter came to an end with Croatia claiming a 2-1 advantage against Morocco as they both headed for the break after 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

The second half was evenly balance more as both teams find it difficult breaking themselves down as the match progressed forward.

Morocco did a lot from their end as they wanted to make sure they had something for themselves which could see them make a comeback but it did not happen.

The match became more difficult for both teams as Croatia were the side who had much work to do in making sure they keep their lead going as long as possible.

The game entered the 80th minutes with still advantage to the Croatians who were busy doing everything in their power to keep things the way they wanted it to be.
