FT: Brentford 2-2 Tottenham, Harry Kane Save Spurs (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Harry Kane scored as Tottenham savage one point in a 2-2 draw against Brentford, MySportDab reports.

The spurs were poor in the first half of the encounter but thankfully they were able to make the comeback but couldn’t get the winner.

First Half Report

Brentford came into the match with so much like they were the better of both teams despite the huge difference in quality between them and their opponent.

Tottenham went down easily in the 15th minute of the encounter which saw Vitaly Janelt netting from a stunner giving the home side a 1-0 advantage going forward.

The match continued with both teams pushing forward looking to make something good happen which didn’t come to reality despite all the attempts being made.

The first half of the match came to an end with Brentford leading after 45 minutes of football which see them head for the break 1-0 against Tottenham.

Second Half Report

Tottenham started well coming into the second half of the match which they were eager to make sure they level things before going on to search for the lead.

The game carried on with the Bees pushing for more and it came to reality as their talisman Ivan Toney increased their lead in the 54th minute of the second half of the match.

Brentford were cruising in the encounter but failed to remain vigilant as Harry Kane scored in the 65th minute of the encounter to bring the match 2-1 as they press for more.

Another goal followed up for Tottenham in the 71st minutes of the encounter which saw the scoreline coming back level 2-2 with a wonderful finish from Pierre Hojbjerg which kept things calm.

Unfortunately, nothing else could materialize out of the remaining minutes which saw Brentford holding Spurs to a 2-2 draw as the English Premier League makes it return after the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
