U17: New Zealand 0-4 Nigeria, Flamingos Get Massive WIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Nigeria U17 Flamingos thrashed New Zealand 0-4 to book their first three points, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The Flamingos came into the first half knowing they had to bounce back from their last game defeat against Germany which saw them doing a lot different this time.

Nigeria Women U17 set the ball rolling after a stunning goal scored in the 16th minute of the game from Amina Bello who was able to make it 0-1.

New Zealand didn’t expect what they saw from their opponent who continued to press them looking to increase their goals for the match as it carried on.

Miracle Usani made it 0-2 in the 34th minute of the match with yet another outstanding goal which the goalkeeper had no way of stopping it from going in the net.

That goal saw the first half coming to an end with Nigeria taking a 0-2 advantage into the break after 45 minutes played against New Zealand for the day.

Second Half Report

The second half started well with so much coming from both sides who did everything to make sure they add something to the game.

Nigeria didn’t stop as they press for more which saw Taiwo Afolabi netting in the 75th minute making the game 0-3 in favor of the Flamingos who were unstoppable going forward.

The New Zealand side did cause some troubles from their end but it wasn’t just enough for them to push and make something happen in the match.

Another goal was scored in the 90th minute by Etim Edidiong which sealed off the game with scoreline turning 0-4 from yet again another perfect goal.

The game ended with the Nigeria U17 girls getting a 0-4 victory against New Zealand to record their first three points for the competition which they play Chile next in the group stages.
