Thomas Tuchel: Graham Potter, Mauricio Pochettino Tops Replacement Options! (Details)

Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino have been named as possible replacement options for the sacked Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea announced the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel from his job at Chelsea after Chelsa suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Croatian Champions Dinamo Zagreb.

Thomas Tuchel, who won the Champions League in 2019 in just five months in charge, suffered a shock loss in his opening 2022/23 Champions League campaign.

Dinamo went into the lead in the 13th minute, and all efforts by the Blues to salvage a point against their hosts proved abortive.

Tuchel’s Champions League came in the backdrop of a series of poor performances and a sluggish start in the Premier League.

Chelsea has managed three wins, a draw, and two losses in their 6 Premier matches so far and have conceded goals in their last five Premier League matches.

Todd Boehly has injected a whooping £273.5m into new signings this season at the club, and there are concerns of a non-coherent squad overseen by the former Borussia Dortmund manager.

However, according to reports, the 1-0 Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb is not a principal factor informing Todd Boey’s decision to sack the German tactician.

Some deep-seated row and misunderstanding between Tuchel and players, including the need to usher in a whole new dispensation, are some of the reasons Tuchel was sacked

According to David Ornstein, Brighton manager Graham Potter and former Tottenham and PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino have been tipped as possible replacement options for Thomas Tuchel.

Todd Boehly is reportedly set to commence talks with Graham Potter for a possible deal; he has reportedly been a secret admirer of Graham Potter.
