FT: Netherlands 1-0 Belgium, Van Dijk Goal Seal FINALS! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Virgil van Dijk scored the only goal as the Netherlands beat Belgium 1-0 to book Nations League finals, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The 45 minutes of football was a cagey one coming from both of them who did so much to ensure they make something happen on the pitch.

The Netherlands weren’t too bad with their attacking despite failing on every attempts to make something good happen which didn’t as the scoreline remained goalless.

Belgium had more dominance but they were unable to put it into good use with their opposition making It a difficult task of getting one over their defensive line.

The game entered the half hour mark with nothing yet separating them despite all the amount of opportunities that was created by both of the teams going forward.

It ended in the first half with no side able to make something happen as it ended in the 45 minutes with Netherlands 0-0 Belgium as they both headed inside for the break.

Second Half Report

The second half was another good one which was also solid, with both National team coaches deploying more firepower in their lineup.

Belgium brought out the heat in them chasing their opponent, who also didn’t slack or give themselves any issues in making sure they defended it well.

The Netherlands took the lead in the 73rd minute of the game, which saw Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk scoring to make things 1-0 for his country with a great goal.

That goal changed the whole momentum of the match as things opened up between both of them, with the Devils pushing more to make something happen which did not come.

The match ended with a 1-0 result, which meant the Netherlands progressed to the UEFA Nations League finals after the victory against Belgium in the 90 minutes of football played.
