The Popular football correspondent stated that United had given Ronaldo the leeway to handle his family issues.

Ronaldo has been absent from Man United training session under new manager Erik Ten Hag amidst speculations of a possible departure from the Old Trafford club.

Ronaldo ended all speculations on his Manchester United when he told the club he wanted to leave.

A purported family issue has been projected as the reason Ronaldo is not joining the United training session.

However, pundits have continued to link Ronaldo’s absence from training to his desire to leave the club.

His absence is also ominous of his possible move from the club after United failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Despite United’s poor outing last season in the Premier League, Ronaldo scored 24 goals for the Red Devils.

United leave for Bangkok tomorrow and will play the likes of Liverpool to test their readiness for the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

It has been confirmed that the 37-year-old Portugal international will not be a part ot the Red Devils’ Squad.
