Manchester United have officially unveiled new signing Lisandro Martinez, who joined them, MySportDab reports.

Manchester United have officially unveiled the new signing Lisandro Martinez, who joined them from Ajax for €55 million.

The Old Trafford club completed a move for the defender after a long talk between them and the Netherlands club which they reached an agreement.

The Argentine completes the move to the English Premier League following his manager from Ajax.

The move is the third for Manchester United this summer, having completed two signings as they look to rebuild their team.

The Red Devils completed a move from Tyrell Malacia, who joined them for a fee of €17 million from Feyenoord.

They move on to reach an agreement to sign Christian Eriksen as a free agent after leaving Brentford.

Now Lisandro Martinez is the newest acquisition who has put pen to paper for a five years contract that will keep him until 2027.

His contract comes with the option of extend for one more year which could make everything comes to six years deal.

“I’ve worked so hard to get to this moment and, now that I’m here, I’m going to push myself even further.

“I’ve been lucky enough to be part of successful teams in my career and that’s what I want to continue at Manchester United.

“There will be a lot of work to get to that moment, but I firmly believe that, under this manager and coaches, and together with my new team-mates, we can do it.

“I want to thank Ajax and their fans for all the support they gave me.

”I had an unbelievable time there but feel the moment is right to test myself in another environment.

“Now I am at the perfect club to do this.”

Lisandro Martinez is expected to create more competition as he will be looking to cement his place in the starting lineup.
