FT: Wales 1-2 Netherlands, Weighorst Grabs Last Minute Winner For The Young Dutchmen! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

After putting up a superb performance over Belgium’s national team, the Netherlands have defeated Wales in their UEFA Nations League second fixture, MySportDab reports.

First Half

The first started with Netherlands mounting pressure on the Wales’ defense as they try find the back of the net.

Wales National team have just made history after an own goal sent the Wales national team to their first World cup in 64 years.

The Ryan Giggs led team will be joining too European clubs to grace the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Wales side demonstrated a strong defensive display with a series of counters that failed on arrival in the Netherlands.

The Dutch continued to dominate proceedings controlling possession and pressuring the Wales side for a first half goal all to no avail.

Despite falling behind in possession, the Ryan Giggs led side managed two good attempts on the Netherland’s goal.

The first half ended in a barren draw with Wales improving their stats toward the end of the game.

Second Half

The second kicked off with much intensity from the Netherlands. Although dominating proceedings on the Cardiff city stadium, they had less shots on targets.

The dragons won more aerial duels than the Louis Van Ga led side but had little control of the game compared to the flying Dutchmen.

The seeming deadlock was broken in the 50th minute by the 24-year-old Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

With a goal advantage the Netherlands continued t demonstrate their dominance passing the ball around at ease.

23-year-old Shefield defender Norrington-Davies tried to rescue a point for Ryan Giggs with a 92nd minute goal.

29-year-old Burnley striker Weighorst strike back two minutes later to hand the young dutchmen their second UEFA Nations League Win.
