Poland has secured only one point from their last two games in the group.

They desperately needed at least a point in the game to keep qualifications hope alive.

The Polish side was lit with a stunning strike by 24-year-old Aston Villa striker Matty Cash.

With an assist from Zalewski, the Aston Villa right-back was able to restore the hopes of Poland in the 18th minute of the game.

Thus, Poland took a surprise lead away from home in the first half of the game against top tournament favourites.

Second Half

The second half starts with the Polish side holding on to their narrow lead.

10 minutes into the second half, Poland doubled their lead with Zielinski making it 0-2 for the Eagles.

Two minutes later, a 52nd-minute goal by Klassen restored the Netherlands to the game.

They almost lost momentum after conceding another goal from the German neighbours.

In less than 5 minutes from the first goal, the young dutchmen struck the back of the net again, making it 2-2.

26-year-old Inter Milan right midfield was on the scoresheet for the Louis Van Gaal side this time around.

The game ended in a 2-2 draw, with Memphis Depay missing a last-minute penalty.
