Chelsea Clear Out Begins’ Bruce Buck Face Hammer As Chairman [Details]

Chelsea clear out has begun with the club announcing the first departure of Chairman Bruce Buck, MySportDab reports.

New owners Todd Boehly and his consortium have been working behind the scene with so many changes expected to be done before they can fully start business as usual.

The hammer is now going round as more changes will be coming, but Chelsea fans are hoping there isn’t too much to affect the whole setup of the club which has been going well under Roman Abrahamovic.

There are also claims that Marina who has been in charge of business and transfer could also follow up soon, but that does not look likely to happen with the new owners looking to keep him with them.

Bruce Buck has been Chelsea chairman since 2003 when Roman Abrahamovic bought the club from former owner Bate, he has been exceptional at his job in all those years till date which he is now set to leave.

Here Is What He Had To Say To Chelsea Official Website:

“I am proud to have helped Chelsea realize great success on the pitch and make a positive impact in the community,” said Buck.

“Now is the right time to step down and let new ownership build on the strong foundations we have in place.

“The owners have a compelling vision for Chelsea’s future, and I look forward to helping them achieve it in this new role alongside our incredible staff, players, coaches and supporters.”

New Owner Todd Boehly Also Added:

“Bruce has led Chelsea Football Club to the highest levels of international and domestic football, while also developing one of the most active social responsibility projects in the sport,” said Todd Boehly.

“Chelsea Football Club co-controlling owner. “We thank Bruce for his service and his commitment to the Club.”

A new chairman will be announced soon as the position is expected to be filled immediately with the right man who will do better than the outgoing Bruce Buck who has been of good service for 19 years.
