Top Players Who Joined Real Madrid As Free Agent

Spanish giants Real Madrid have made headlines again after signing the Blues top defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer, MySportDab reports

Rudiger had refused to sign a new contract with the Blues after the London-based we’re embroild after the takeover crisis that rocked the team.

The Spanish Champions has had series of financial crisis and and have taken a rather subtle approach in landing big name players through free transfer.

 

They have signed top and highly rated players on free transfer with Rusiger being their latest addition to the Santiago Bernabau.

Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger is the latest top defender that has joined the Los Blancos after refusing to sign a new with the Blues.

Rudiger who has won many trohies with Chelsea opted to join the Spanish side amidst takeover crisis at Stamford Bridge.

The Spanish international is said to have penciled down a four-year contract with the European giants. The deal is said to worth about €6.8 million in a season.

This excludes match bonuses and other emoluments. Before joining Real Madrid, Rudiger has won the Premier League, FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League with the Blues.

David Alaba

David Alaba is another top Bundesliga Defender who joined Real Madrid by German giants, Bayern Munich.

The Austrian international has won many trophies with Bayern Munich. He has won the DFB-Pokal, the Bundelisga title and the UEFA Champions League.

He is yet to feature for the Los Blancos. Alabo reportedly penned down a contract worth 17.7 million euro match bonuses.

The 29-year-old will be earning about 19.47 million euros per season and has reportedly penned down a four -year contract with the Los Blancos.

Bernd Schuster

Bernd Schuster was another player who the Los Blancos from their rivals Barcelona.

According to reports , Schuster made the controversial move to his face-off with the Barcelona coaching crew.

Schuster scored 31 goals in 61 appearances for Real Madrid abd was phenomenal in the midfield for the Los Blancos.

He won many trophies in first season at Santiago Bernabau.
