FT: Liverpool 0-1 Real Madrid, Los Blancos Win 2021-22 Champions League (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Vinicius Junior scored the only goal as Real Madrid claimed their 14th UEFA Champions League title beating Liverpool 0-1, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The game had some issues leading to a delay in the kickoff as the first half started 36 minutes late from schedule.

It was Real Madrid who started the match poorly as their opponent had total control and dominance going forward and creating opportunities.

Liverpool got close on several occasions only to be denied by the goalkeeper who was on top form in the encounter as it carried on moving forward with so much happening.

Karim Benzema disallowed goal was the highlight for the first half which followed with so many controversy and talking points as to why the finish didn’t stand after review.

It was not meant to be as the first half ended with Liverpool 0-0 Real Madrid after 45 minutes played in France with nothing coming from both ends despite all the efforts.

Second Half Report

The second half was solid with the Spanish side putting on a star performance which saw them getting the job done regardless of who was in total control of the affair.

It was looking good for Liverpool who remained on control but didn’t have anything else to offer in going forward and hitting the back of the net which Thibaut Courtois stopped them.

It was unbearable until Vinicius Junior scored in the 59th minute which an easy goal after finding himself luckily alone before smashing into make the scoreline 0-1 for Real Madrid.

It was all looking good for the Spanish side who calmed things down ensuring they were able to kill the momentum of their opponent who were desperate for the equalizer which didn’t happen.

The game ended with Real Madrid getting the job done under 90 minutes to claim their 14th UEFA Champions League title beating Liverpool 0-1 in France.
