FT: Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United, Gunners Go Clear Off Spurs! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

An early brace from Edward Nketiah saw Arsenal beat 2-1 Leeds United, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was a brilliant start coming from the Gunners who made a lot of things happen in the first half of the encounter which helped them a lot going forward.

It took Arsenal 5 minutes to score the opening goal after an amazing teamwork contribution which led to Edward Nketiah finishing off to make the scoreline 1-0 for the home side.

Leeds United was poor in their defending as their encounter continued which saw more pressure coming from the home side who were perfect and attacking in numbers.

Edward Nketiah doubled the lead and got his brace in the 10th minute which was another fantastic from the striker who was able to make 2-0 as things progressed well for the Gunners.

Luke Ayling was sent off from the encounter in the 27th minute of the game which was fast approaching away from the away side who were confused in all their dealings.

The pressure continued pouring in with the home team fighting to get more until the first half ended with Arsenal 2-0 Leeds United after 45 minutes played.

Second Half Report

The second half resumed well with more coming from both teams despite the away side with one man down on the pitch as it continued.

Leeds United was playing better than their opponent despite them missing one player who was sent off in the first half.

Arsenal continued to struggle in the second half as Diego Llorente scored one goal back in the 66th minute making the scoreline 1-2.

The match carried on with the away side forcing them to make a comeback as which didn’t happen as they approach extra time.

The game ended with Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United which gave the Gunners 3 points and one point away from Chelsea in 3rd position.
