Erling Haaland To Manchester City: Sergio Aguero Finally REACTS! (Details)

Former Manchester City striker and Argentine forward Sergio Aguero have finally reacted to the transfer of Erling Haaland to Manchester city, MySportDab reports.

Manchester City have been playing without a well-recognized striker after Sergio Kun Aguero exited the Etihad stadium.

Pep Guardiola had sought for a replacement for the Argentine forward by trying to sign England and Tottenham striker Harry Kane but fell out.

Despite having no recognisable striker since the exit of Aguero, Manchester City have been prolific in front of goals and have scored over 99 premier league goals this season.

However, Guardiola was still bent on acquiring a recognizabe number 9 to take over from Kun Aguero. Hence the signing of former Dortmund and Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.

Reactions have continued to pour in after the Blue side of Manchester announced the deal that has landed Erling Haaland as the Citizens’ new striker.

However, Kun Aguero previously remained mute after the arrival of Erling Haaland at Manchester City, only to break his silence subsequently.

MySportDab learns that Sergio Aguero is hoping that the Norwegian striker will score many goals in Manchester City as he does at Dortmund.

Erling Haaland, ready to join the Citizens in their Pre-season, will make his appearance next season with much expectations from the Norwegian.

Aguero stated that the 21-year-old would need time to adapt at Etihad despite his prolific form at Borussia Dortmund.

“He is a great signing, I think. It is big that he can contribute to goal-scoring, but in the premier league, he will need time to adapt. But I am sure, he will do well.”

When asked about Manchester City’s Champions League chances, the Citizen’s goal-scoring legend said he is optimistic about City’s chances.

“The Champions League is a huge task. But it is all about teamwork, not players. Having grown in experience over the past years, champions league is something they can achieve.”

Before leaving the Premier League giants at the end of the 2020/2021 season, Aguero had scored 257 goals for Manchester City.
