First Half Report

It was a poor first half encounter between both teams who had nothing more to do except create opportunities with poor finishing at the end of it.

Man United didn’t start well as the game was about them being pressured by the away side which saw them going close to making something happen but failed.

Chelsea saw more of the ball in the match and went close on many occasions which the home side goalkeeper David de Gea put up some good saves.

The game continued with more of the opportunities coming from the away team who couldn’t put any of them to good use as they approached the final few minutes left it be played.

The first half of the match ended with Man United 0-0 Chelsea as they both headed inside to rest after 45 minutes of football happening at Old Trafford for the night.

Second Half Report

Both of them came out strong for the second half searching for the opening goal which they hoped to get it so they can see off the remainder of the match.

The game carried on with Chelsea dominating things going forward but couldn’t make their opportunity count for something which wasn’t meant to happen.

Man United finally concede through a cross that found its way to Marcos Alonso who finished off with an amazing strike to make the scoreline 0-1 in the 60th minute of the match.

The Reds Devils wasted no time as Cristiano Ronaldo leveled things 1-1 in the 62nd minute of the encounter which saw them coming back into the game from that goal.

That proved to be the major talking point as the game progressed and ended with Man United 1-1 Chelsea which saw both teams settling for one point each after 90 minutes.
