First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was a closely matched one from both ends who made sure they gave it all their best but none could make something good happen.

Opportunities for Chelsea in the early stages but they could put it to good use as things continued with their opponent doing so well at the back as it carried on going forward.

West Ham United were good enough with their defending as the game progressed despite them not having much of the ball possession which was an issue with their control of things.

The match carried on with both teams doing more of creating opportunities which couldn’t to anything close to a goal as they kept coming and going to waste.

The first half concluded with Chelsea 0-0 West Ham United as they both went inside for the break with the two of them settling for a goalless draw.

Second Half Report

The second half of the match kicked off with so many expectations as the Blues were more desperate committing more bodies forward as it continued.

West Ham United continued with their impressive defending and also did everything to make sure they make something of their own happen in the encounter.

Chelsea continued pressing and applying more pressure to make sure their opponent breakdown with everything in their power to make sure they get the opening goal.

Nothing happened until Romelu Lukaku was brought down with VAR awarding a penalty and red Card to the Hammers defender.

Jorginho failed to score from the penalty spot as his penalty was poor and saved comfortably by the away side goalkeeper.

Nothing changed until an amazing attack saw Mason Mount setup Marcos Alonso who square in  a good one for Christian Pulisic to finish and make it 1-0 in the 90th minute.

The match ended with West Ham United losing narrowly 1-0 to Chelsea after 90 minutes of football played between them at Stamford Bridge.
