Guendouzi Joins Marseille From Arsenal On A Permanent Deal (DETAILS)

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has finally left the Gunners for Marseille on a permanent deal, MySportDab reports.

The France International saw his time at the Emirates cut short since Mikel Arteta took over as manager.

Matteo Guendouzi who left Arsenal to Marseille for a loan move has now made it a permanent deal which will see him spend three years.

The midfielder had a clause on his contract which meant if he plays a certain amount of games the deal will be trigger into a permanent move.

He just recently hit the said target and he will now be officially a full Marseille player which will see the French side pay a fee to the Gunners.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest development via social media handle earlier today.

Here Is What He Said:

“Mattéo Guendouzi leaves Arsenal permanently to join Olympique Marseille on a 3 year deal.

“Guendouzi has met clauses in his loan deal after playing 38 games.

“Guendouzi has already signed his contract until June 2025 with OM.

The move has been one long coming after discovering his form which has saw him help the Ligue One side since joining them.

Arsenal on the other hand will be using his fee to fund a move for a striker which they are desperate to bring in after Aubameyang departure.

Matteo Guendouzi time at the Emirates started off well during his first season playing for the Premier League side.

Things got worst as he lost his form and move further away from regular playing despite the hype he came with so much expectations on him.

The move to Marseille was to see him get regular playing time and see him develop more which he has done that but won’t be returning to Arsenal.

Guendouzi has now left the Premier League side after an agreement has been reach between all parties involved in negotiations.
