FT: Arsenal 2-0 Leicester, Lacazette STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Thomas Partey and Alexander Lacazette both scored as Arsenal beat Leicester City 2-0, MySportDab reports.

First Half Reports

Just one goal scored separated both teams from each other after 45 minutes of football which was good in the first half.

It took Arsenal 11 minutes to score the opening goal which came through Thomas Partey with assistance from Gabriel Martinelli giving the Gunners a 1-0 lead going forward.

Things continued with Leicester City pushing forward but couldn’t find a way of making anything happen despite how close they came on many occasions.

Nothing happen except some wasted opportunities going forward in the attack which wasn’t good for the Foxes who needed to make something happen by all means.

The first half of the encounter ended with Arsenal taking a slim advantage 1-0 into the break against Leicester City after 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Reports

The second half wasn’t that bad for both of them who did well to make something happen but only one team had something good to celebrate.

A good start in the second half from Leicester City who dominated play going forward, but they couldn’t make good use of the opportunities which ended with nothing happening.

Arsenal grew comfortable and started dominating things against a side that could have leveled back, but they couldn’t just make their opportunities counted got something reasonable.

Alexander Lacazette scored in the 59th minute of the second half from the penalty spot after a bad tackle saw France International stepping up to convert and made things 2-0.

It was all about the Gunners doing more to keep their lead intact as they approached the final few minutes left to be played at the Emirates Stadium.

The match ended with Arsenal taking all three points after 90 minutes played with a 2-0 victory against Leicester City who failed to live up to expectations from their fans.
