FT: Man City 7-0 Leeds United, Kevin De Bruyne Bags BRACE! | HIGHLIGHTS

Kevin De Bruyne scored a brace as Man City thrashed Leeds United 7-0 with Riyad Mahrez and others on target, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

An incredible first-half encounter flooded with goals from Manchester City who dominated things all through the 45 minutes.

Leeds United could only hold on until the 8thminutes which saw Phil Foden scoring the opening goal after a good display saw the scoreline turn 1-0.

Man City didn’t waste much time in increasing the lead to 2-0 in the 13th minute as Jack Grealish scored a stunner with assistance from Riyad Mahrez.

The encounter carried on with the Premier League Champions dominating things going forward with more opportunities.

Kevin De Bruyne had Rodri to thank in the 32nd minute of the first half as they both combined for the 3rd of the encounter which was perfect to make it 3-0 going forward.

The first half of the encounter came to an end with Man City taking a 3-0 advantage over into the break against a poor Leeds United side.

Second Half Report

The second half wasn’t that bad as more goals were scored by the home side who had everything under control going forward and defending.

Riyad Mahrez extended Man City’s lead to 4-0 in the 49th minute of the second half after teaming up with Ilkay Gundogan for the fourth goal of the encounter.

The match continued with Leeds United losing all hopes of getting anything solid against their opponent who was everywhere on the pitch.

Another goal for Kevin De Bruyne made it his brace in the match as the lead increased further to 5-0 after lovely teamwork in the 62nd minute.

John Stones scored another goal in the 74th minute for his club as the scoreline was fast becoming a whitewash as it entered 6-0 with a stunning finish.

Nathan Ake made it 7-0 in the 78th minute of the match which was after Phil Foden made a good delivery which the Netherlands man made it count.

The match came to an end with Man City claiming a 7-0 win against Leeds United to keep them comfortable at the top of the Premier League table.
