FT: Chelsea 1-1 Brighton, Danny Welbeck Score Late STUNNER! | HIGHLIGHTS

Danny Welbeck scored a late stunner to hold Chelsea to a 1-1 draw against Brighton And Hove Albion, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was a good first half encounter which saw some good football coming from both teams who made sure they created opportunities.

Chelsea didn’t start the game well as their opponent had more of the ball possession going their way but it didn’t make the Blues loss guard of their defense.

 

Brighton And Hove Albion Tariq Lamptey caught Reece James causing the player to go down injured as he was remove for Marcos Alonso coming in.

The game progressed with Romelu Lukaku scored in the 28th minute after heading in a Mason Mount cross from the corner kick to make the scoreline 1-0 with an amazing finish.

Another injury worries for the Blues as Andreas Christensen was down injured and removed for Trevoh Chalobah to come in and replace the Denmark International.

Nothing happened in the first half as it ended with Chelsea 1-0 Brighton after an amazing 45 minutes which saw both teams heading into the break.

Second Half Report

The second half carried on with both teams pushing forward with so much pace as they looked to change the scoreline which was already in favor of the home side.

Brighton And Hove Albion still with the ball possession but struggling to break down their opponent who continue to pose a very strong defense making sure they don’t concede.

Chelsea players were seeing yellow cards as they continue to hold onto their lead looking to hold things down with them also having it at the back of their mind that one more goal will give them all three points.

Nothing changed as they approached the 70th minute with the scoreline still in favor of the Blues 1-0 which saw more yellow cards going all the way of the home side.

Danny Welbeck scored a late stunner in the 90th minute plus addition time as they leveled things 1-1 from a clinical finish.

The match ended with Chelsea 1-1 Brighton And Hove Albion as they both shared the points between themselves after 90 minutes.
