FT: Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea, Jorginho Bags BRACE! | HIGHLIGHTS

Jorginho scored a brace as Chelsea came from behind to beat Aston Villa 1-3 away from home, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

A good first half from both teams who did well enough to hit the target one each under 45 minutes which was evenly balanced.

Both teams held each other to a stalemate in the first 25 minutes of the encounter which saw them going close but unable to make anything count.

Aston Villa took the lead in the 28th minute after Reece James scored an own-goal which made the scoreline 1-0 in favor of the home side.

The game progressed with Jorginho scoring the leveler in the 34th minute of the game which was from the penalty spot to bring Chelsea 1-1 into the encounter.

The first half didn’t provide anything much except many misplaced opportunities which could have made it past the goalkeepers from both end.

The first half of the encounter ended with Aston Villa 1-1 Chelsea as they both headed inside for the break with them holding each other down tight.

Second Half Report

The second half was all about the Blues getting the job done like the manager wanted as he made an early substitution bringing in Lukaku.

Aston Villa looked good in the early stages of the second half which saw them defending well and causing some kind of problems for their opponent.

Chelsea took the lead in the 56th minute thanks to Romelu Lukaku who scored a stunner with assist from Callum Hudson Odoi to make the scoreline 1-2.

More action coming from both teams with the scoreline staying the same as they approached the final 10 minutes left to be played.

Jorginho scored in the 90th minute plus added time from the penalty spot to make things 1-3 after another foul gifted them another goal.

The match ended with Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea as the Blues claimed a vital three points away from home against a good team.
