Here Is What Eddie Howe Had To Say;

“It is a great honour to become head coach of a club with the stature and history of Newcastle United.

“It is a very proud day for me and my family.

“This is a wonderful opportunity, but there is also a lot of work ahead of us and I am eager to get onto the training ground to start working with the players.

“I would like to thank the club’s owners for this opportunity and thank the club’s supporters for the incredible welcome they have already given me.

“I am very excited to begin our journey together.”

Newcastle United recently sacked Steve Bruce after the Saudi Arabia takeover with the ex manager struggling to produce results.

Many names were lineup for the job which included Frank Lampard alongside Antonio Conte and other top managers before a decision was made.

Eddie Howe is the man the club sees as the suitable candidate for the job which he will be resuming immediately after completing the deal.

The club will also be going into the transfer market when the January window open, in a bid to see them fight out of relegation.

Newcastle United last game ended in a 1-1 draw as their struggles for the season continue with them finding it hard to produce results.

With Eddie Howe apportionment, they will be charging him with the responsibility of turning things around with funds on the table to back him.
