BREAKING! Barcelona Pedri Beats Jude Bellingham To Win Golden Boy Award 2021

Barcelona youngster Pedri has won the Golden Boy award beating Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, MySportDab reports.

The midfielder who has been exceptional since making his way into the Barcelona senior team has now been awarded for his performance.

Pedri has been recognised after an outstanding breakthrough season at Camp Nou beating Erling Haaland to the award.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport hand out the prestigious prize to the best player aged 21 or under from Europe’s top-tier leagues every year which the Barcelona man has won.

Pedri picking up the mantle winner Erling Haaland who won the award back in 2020 after an incredible season scoring loads of goals.

The Barcelona midfielder has been recognised after an outstanding breakthrough season with his club all the way from their Academy.

The 19-year-old already have 52 appearances in all competitions and play a key role in their run to Copa del Rey glory which was impressive.

“Of course, many thanks to Barca, the national team, my family, my friends and obviously to all those who have been close to me day after day without whom I would not have been able to win the Golden Boy.”

Pedri beat the likes of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham who finished second placed with Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich coming third place.
