BREAKING! Premier League Player Arrested By Police For Sexual Assault (Details)

A Premier League player has been arrested by police after a sexual assault complaint, MySportDab reports. 

The player is from Brighton and he’s in his 20s.

He is one of two men taken into custody after an incident at a nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The player has not be named for legal reasons and was arrested with a man above 40 years old.

Brighton have released an official statement which said: ‘Brighton & Hove Albion are aware that one of its players has been arrested due to an investigation for an offence.

‘The matters will follow the due legal process and the club cannot make any further comment at this time.’

The Sussex Police released an official statement, which said: ‘Two men were arrested after a woman complained of being sexually assaulted in Brighton on Wednesday.

‘The two men were both from Brighton, and are now arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and remain in police custody.

‘The victim is receiving support from officers.’

According to reports, the player was ‘partying with a friend’ at The Arch bar in Brighton on Wednesday when he was arrested by police.

MySportDab understands that the player was detained by officers and taken out of the club in handcuffs at around 2am.

The Brighton player arrested is suspected to be midfielder Yves Bissouma.
