Manchester United Star Harry Maguire Provides NEW Injury Update (Details)

Manchester United Captain Harry Maguire has now provided a new update about his injury today, MySportDab reports.

Maguire is confident that he will be ‘back on the pitch very soon.’

The Englishman is battling with a calf injury suffered last month.

Maguire picked up the injury in loss to Aston Villa back in September at Old Trafford.

Since the injury, he has missed United’s matches against Villarreal and Everton.

The 28-year-old was not selected for international duty with England due to his injury.

He is still a doubt for Manchester United’s match this weekend against Leicester City.

Speaking to Manchester United TV about his injury, Maguire revealed he has not yet participated in a team training session since the injury.

“Yeah am gradually getting there,” Maguire told United TV.

“I have not yet trained with the squad, but I am now better, I am progressing gradually.

“It is a frustrating injury for me, but I am working hard and I will be back playing again soon.”

Maguire’s absence this weekend is the another blow to United after Raphael Varane suffered an injury during the international break.

The France international will be out of action for “a few weeks” after playing for France in the Nations League final against Spain.

Manchester United are scheduled to play six matches over the next three weeks before the November international break.
