FT: Central African Republic 0-2 Nigeria, Victor Osimhen STRIKES! (Match Report And Highlight)

Leon Balogun and Osimhen both scored as Nigeria claimed a 0-2 win against the Central African Republic in a World Cup qualifying match, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half was filled with a good attacking display of football coming from the two Nations as goals were scored within 45 minutes.

It was the Central African Republic that started well base on their home advantage which saw them causing trouble but couldn’t score.

Nigeria was calm in all their dealings until Leon Balogun scored the opening goal in the 29th minute of the game after a good team effort and perfect finishing.

More opportunities were created going forward as the home side did everything possible to stage a comeback that failed in every way.

Victor Osimhen extended the lead in the 46th minute of the game after a perfect display from the Napoli man who finished off neatly to make things 0-2.

Second Half Report

The second half was more evenly matched as the home side tightened up their defense and push forward in search of a goal.

Things were looking comfortable for the Super Eagles of Nigeria who bossed things while making sure their defending was perfect and nothing went past them.

The Central African Republic continued looking desperate for a goal that would go a long way in helping the outcome of the game.

Nothing coming from both ends as the game was looking farther away from the home side who were doing all that is needed for something to happen.
