Manchester United Vs Liverpool: Coach Solskjaer CONFIRMS Bruno Fernandes Injury Update! (Details)

Manchester United might have to play without Bruno Fernandes on Sunday in the Premier League match against Liverpool at Old Trafford, MySportDab reports.

Fernandes sustained a knock in Manchester United’s 3-2 Champions League win on Wednesday.

The Portuguese went into Carrington for training on Thursday but did not stay for too long.

By Thursday afternoon, Fernandes’ knock became obvious and he was limping heavily.

At his pre-match press conference, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about Fernandes’ injury.

Solskjaer confirmed Fernandes is now a major doubt to play for Manchester United against Liverpool.

“Wednesday night matches are always going to bring knocks and more and we have at least two others carrying knocks from that match.

“Everyone will have enough time, I hope to have a fully fit squad, but still two or three might be missing,” Solskjaer said.

“Bruno is a doubt but he’s doing everything possible to be ready.”

Fernandes will still undergo new checks ahead of Liverpool’s match at Old Trafford and a final decision will be made.

United have quality options for the No. 10 role if Fernandes is to be ruled out for the Liverpool match.

Van de Beek, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard are all be capable of playing in the No.10 role for Manchester United.

Bruno Fernandes has not missed a single match due to injury for Manchester United since he joined the club from Sporting CP.

Fernandes has become a very important player for Manchester United since his transfer from Portugal.

He is top of the Premier League for key passes since the start of the new season.

Fernandes is Solskjaer’s main man for creativity, and he offers something different from United’s other forward players.

The Portuguese midfielder will surely be missed if he can’t play against Liverpool.
