Liverpool Join Race To Sign Borussia Dortmund Striker Erling Haaland (Details)

Liverpool have now joined the list of many clubs with plans to sign Borussia Dortmund Striker Erling Haaland next summer, MySportDab reports.

The Norwegian has continued his brilliant form at Dortmund again this season with 11 goals in his first seven matches so far across all competitions.

The striker is currently one of the hottest young talents in European football since he surprised everyone in the Champions League at RB Salzburg before joining Dortmund.

Dortmund refused to sell Haaland this summer despite interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, Chelsea have ended their interest in Haaland after signing Romelu Lukaku.

But now, According to Spanish Newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool have joined the race for the 21-year-old Striker.

MySportDab understands that Haaland will attract more clubs close to the end of the season with his release clause down to 77m.

Dortmund now face a tough task of keeping the Norway goalscorer at the club next year.

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said: “Yes, it will be tough. I am not saying that him staying is completely out of the question.

“We’ll do everything possible to keep our top players at the club for many more years.”

Haaland surprised everyone in his breakout season by scoring 29 goals in 27 matches for RB Salzburg.

His form has continued at Dortmund, scoring 68 times in 67 matches across all competitions.

He has also helped his country Norway on the international stage, with 12 goals in 15 matches. 12 goals in 15 matches.
