FT: France 2-0 Finland, Antoine Griezmann Hit BRACE! (Match Report And Highlight)

Antoine Griezmann scored a brace as France beat Finland 2-0 in their FIFA World Cup qualifications match, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

One goal scored by the World Cup winners in the first half ensured things were going their way as they dominated the entire duration of 45 minutes.

Finland had a good share of things in the early minutes which saw them creating opportunities and find a way to make sure their defense is top-notch against the French.

It was more opportunities being created by France against their opponent who struggled to clear their defense whenever the attacking gets too much for them to handle.

The first goal finally came in the 25th minute, thanks to Antoine Griezmann who teamed up with Real Madrid Karim Benzema to score the opener which made the scoreline 1-0 in their favor.

Nothing more as the first half ended with France 1-0 Finland, which saw both teams heading for the break after a pulsating 45 minutes of good football.

Second Half Report

Another fantastic 45 minutes from the French who made sure everything once again went their way with Antoine Griezmann showing the quality he brings to the table.

France didn’t take long to gain back control as the second half kicked off with them resuming their dominance which saw the opportunities kept on coming more.

It didn’t take long before Antoine Griezmann grabbed his brace in the 54th minute after Leo Dubois provided the assist which saw the on-loan Barcelona man making the scoreline 2-0 against Finland.

There was a shout for a penalty on two occasions which first happened in the 59th minute which wasn’t given after the VAR check and the same thing was repeated in the 89th minute of the match.

Nothing else as the referee ended the match with France taking a 2-0 victory against Finland to continue their fine run in the FIFA World Cup qualifying round.
