The German contract will run until end of the season which he turn into free agent that could leave the club for nothing.

Since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, the defender has been unstoppable helping the Blues to Champions League and Super Cup titles.

That has led to the club who wanted him out before are now looking to keep him beyond his current deal which they are now offering a new one.

Antonio Rudiger is keeping Chelsea waiting when it comes to contract talks at Stamford Bridge, according to reports reaching us from Sport1.

The German defender is being linked with the likes of Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain who are strongly interested in making the move happen.

Although, there remains a chance that he will extend a deal in west London that is due to expire in 2022.

His relationship with the club looks solid and that could lead to him signing the new contract that will keep him off the transfer market.

Chelsea are also in the market as they are looking to bring in Jules Kounde whose deal collapsed on transfer deadline day despite reaching an agreement for personal terms.
