FT: Wolves 0-1 Man United, Mason Greenwood STRIKES! (Match Report And Highlight)

Mason Greenwood scored the only goal as Man United claimed a 0-1 win away from home against Wolves, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was an interesting first-half encounter as the Reds Devil’s new signings Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho made their full debut which was an amazing 45 minutes despite no goals.

Wolves were solid at the back and didn’t have to put up so much from their opponent as the few chances they had were fully contained well by the defenders.

It wasn’t going as planned for Man United who had the better ball possession as the home side created more opportunities than they did, which sees the pressing on them.

The first half was beginning to look boring until Bruno Fernandes scored, but he was already ruled out for offside before he placed the ball inside the back of the net.

The first half finally ended with the Wolves holding Man United to a 0-0 draw scoreline as they both headed for the first half break which saw them doing all their best within 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

Both sides resumed hostilities in the second half as the pace increased more from each end in a bid to get the lead which will turn the game around.

Man United continued to push with every firepower they have upfront as the opportunities kept coming but nothing to show for it with their finishing aways poor.

It was looking like another game that wont bring another goal as it entered into the final 20 minutes which both sides carried on win hostilities.

Mason Greenwood finally broke the deadlock in the 80th minute, thanks a nice buildup from play which saw the youngster scoring off Varane’s assist to make it 0-1.

It was all done and dusted as the encounter finished with Wolves 0-1 Man United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side claimed an amazing win to keep them top 4.
