Chelsea Set To Make Move For Ex-United Goalkeeper (Details)

The Blues are now looking to bring in Sergio Romero as his replacement, although it might be difficult to happen since he left Manchester United due to low game time.

Chelsea have Edouard Mendy who is on high form and also Kepa Arrizabalaga who is also picking up form after being displaced by the Senegalese.

The London side will be ready to meet his wages as he won’t be costing them any transfer fee having fall into free agent zone.

Chelsea have identified former Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero as a transfer target, according to reports from ESPN.

The Blues may look to bring in the 34-year-old on a free transfer following his departure from Old Trafford earlier this summer after lack of getting playing time.

Juventus and Granada are also interested in Sergio Romero, who is currently training in Argentina ahead of the new season, the decision will be left for him to make as he will be looking to play more.

A move to Chelsea or Juventus won’t guarantee him getting more game time as both teams already have a good number one who hardly get dropped.
