FT: England 2-0 Germany, Harry Kane STRIKES! (Match Report And Highlight)

Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane both scored as England beat Germany 2-0 in the European Championship round of 16, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half was evenly matched and balance with both teams giving 100 percent all their best to make sure they get something within 45 minutes.

England started poorly in the early stages as they struggled to deal with every attacks being thrown at them by their opponent who were good.

Germany had everything going their way except making sure they scored the opener in a game which was being played at Wembley Stadium, home of the three lions.

Kai Havertz and Timo Werner connected almost gave the Germans the lead but good save from the goalkeeper denied them the opportunity to score.

The first half ended with England 0-0 Germany as they both headed for the break without anybody taking the much needed lead despite all the opportunities created.

Second Half Report

More in the second half saw things changed a bit as both sides came into the game with more firepower and energy going forward with hopes of taking the much needed lead.

Germany saw their dominance being taken away as the game was balanced with their opponent also pushing them very hard as it progresses with them going close on goal.

England finally broke the deadlock in the 75th minute thanks to their leading goal scorer Raheem Sterling who scored to make it 1-0 with assist from Manchester United Luke Shaw.

The match carried on with Tottenham Harry Kane finally getting his first goal of the tournament after he scored in the 86th minute with assist coming from Aston Villa Jack Grealish.

The encounter carried on without anything go take home for the away side as it finished with England 2-0 Germany which saw the Three Lions advancing unto the next round.
