Billy Gilmour Test Positive For COVID-19 (DETAILS)

Scotland have announced that Chelsea player Billy Gilmour won’t be playing against Croatia due to Coronavirus, MySportDab reports.

The youngster has been ruled out of the last group game of the European Championship following the latest development.

Billy Gilmour has been ruled out of Scotland Vs Croatia after contracting coronavirus ahead of the final group stages match.

The Chelsea player provided an exceptional display during their 0-0 draw against England at Wembley Stadium.

Scotland stand a chance of making it out of the group stages if they can beat Croatia without their star man Billy Gilmour who will be absent.

The Scottish Football Association (SFA) have confirmed that the midfielder will sit out the meeting with Croatia at Hampden Park on Tuesday night.

After the latest round of medical checks in the national team camp they confirmed he have covid-19 which will see him miss the game due to self isolation.

Here Is What The Scotland FA Said;

“The Scottish FA can confirm that a member of the Scotland National Team playing squad, Billy Gilmour, has tested positive for COVID-19,” the official SFA statement reads.

“Having liaised with Public Health England since the positive test was recorded.

Billy will now self-isolate for 10 days and therefore miss tomorrow’s UEFA EURO 2020 Group D match against Croatia at Hampden.”
