Man United Coach Solskjaer CONFIRMS Bad Anthony Martial, Rashford Injury Update!

Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Anthony Martial could be out unavailable for the rest of the season, MySportDab reports.

Martial has a sprained knee from his time with the France national team.

Meanwhile, Eric Bailly has now tested positive for Covid-19.

Martial missed United’s win against Brighton yesterday night due to the injury from international duty.

‘It’s a very bad one,’ said Solskjaer.

‘If he returns before the end of the season I’ll be shocked. We’ve now lost an important player.’

Ivory Coast defender Bailly also missed the Brighton match, and Solskjaer added: ‘Eric can’t play for us for a little while. He tested positive for Covid and has not returned back to the country.’

Manchester United have yet another setback after Marcus Rashford, limped off the pitch in the 72nd minute against Brighton after scoring United’s equaliser.

‘Marcus was on the receiving end of a bad tackle and could not continue,’ said Solskjaer.

‘We all hope he can recover from it. He had to be taken off, but he’s very strong.’

At the end of the Brighton match, Solskjaer paid tribute to match-winner Mason Greenwood.

‘It’s a great header inside the six-yard box and we need more of that from Mason,’ said Solskjaer.

‘He’s learning well from Edinson.

‘We know how good he is and when he can add those goals he’ll become even far better.’
