FT: Liverpool 2-1 Aston Villa, Salah And Alexander-Arnold STRIKES! (Match Report And Highlight)

Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold both scored as Liverpool came from behind to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Anfield, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It wasn’t a good first half encounter for Jurgen Klopp’s side who had things nothing going their way their only goal in the 45 minutes was ruled out.

Liverpool dominated play and created more chances as the game progressed, but their finishing wasn’t good enough as most of it was either wide or not going through.

Aston Villa scored the opener in the 43rd minute which came through Ollie Watkins who was able to get one past the Reda once again as they made it 1-0.

The game progressed with Roberto Firmino scoring a late goal which was eventually ruled out by VAR.

It finally came to an end in the first half as it finished with Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa as they both headed for the break with advantage to the away side.

Second Half Report

It was a different ball game in the second half which two goals was scored by the home side who were able to make things happen.

Mohamed Salah was able to provide some magic in the 57th minute which he scored a superb goal to make it 1-1 against Aston Villa who couldn’t keep their lead for long.

The game progressed with Liverpool going after their opponent with everything they have but still couldn’t take the lead despite so much opportunities created.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was able to make it happen for the Reds as he scored in the 90+ minutes to make it 2-1 for his side as the game entered into the last few minutes.

The match ended with Liverpool 2-1 Aston Villa as Jurgen Klopp’s side claimed a massive three points to push for top four finish.
