Man Utd Coach Solskjaer Provides Marcus Rashford Injury Update!

Manchester United Star Marcus Rashford was forced off injured in the Manchester derby against City on Sunday, MySportDab reports.

This led to an argument between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Pep Guardiola on the touchline about Rashford’s replacement.

Rashford played very well at the Etihad Stadium as United secured a 2-0 win against their rivals.

Bruno Fernandes scored a crucial penalty after Gabriel Jesus fouled Anthony Martial in the early stages of the first half.

Luke Shaw then made it 2-0 in the second half thanks to his link up with Marcus Rashford.

Rashford might now have undergo surgery if the problem arises again.

Speaking after the match, Solskjaer said:

He said: “It’s something about his ankle.

“He went all the way of 70 yards to stop a goal, it showed his attitude.

“I think he damaged his ankle but we need a full scan, I’m yet to speak to the doctor now.”

Rashford wrote on Twitter: “Not the way I wanted to finish the game but very important 3 points, well done lads.”

Manchester United held on to the 2-0 lead and secured all three points to end Manchester City’s run of consecutive wins.

United played next on Thursday in the Europa League against AC Milan.

After AC Milan, the Red Devils face West Ham in the Premier League.
