Goalkeeper – Alisson

Liverpool’s Brazilian no.1 has returned back to training after missing the Brighton match due to injury.

Caoimhin Kelleher played against Brighton but Alisson is back in line to face Manchester City.

Defence – Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Kabak

The return of Fabinho is another huge boost for Liverpool ahead of the Manchester City match.

The Brazilian has missed Liverpool’s last three games due to a bad muscle injury, having been a key player at the heart of Liverpool’s defence.

January signing Ozan Kabak could make his debut today vs Manchester City and could start alongside Fabinho in defence.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will both starts on each side of the defence.

Midfield – Thiago, Henderson, Wijnaldum

With Van Dijk and Gomez unavailable, Henderson has impressed in defence for Liverpool this season.

But the Reds’ have not showed the consistency from last season when they won the Premier League title.

Henderson’s return to midfield is much-needed as Liverpool look to dominate the match at Anfield.

Forwards – Salah, Firmino, Mane

Another key player is form of Sadio Mane is back for Liverpool to face Manchester City today.

Mane, Fabinho, and Alisson all returned to training this week after missing the last two matches.

Klopp could start Xherdan Shaqiri and or just put Mane in from the start.

Manchester City want to extend their winning run to 14 matches across all competitions, but face a tough task against Liverpool at Anfield.

City move go ten points clear at the top ahead of Liverpool and a a game in hand if they win Sunday’s big game.

But, City have not won at Anfield in the Premier League since the year 2003.

Recently, Pep Guardiola confirmed that City will still be without Sergio Aguero as he works on his match fitness.

Also, Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne are still out with injury.

Aymeric Laporte played as part of a three man defence in midweek at Burnley, so Guardiola must decide to change back or stick like that.
