Man Utd Coach Solskjaer CONFIRMS CoronaVirus Test, Players Exit (Full Press Conference)

Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now provided an update ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup third round match against Watford, MySportDab reports.

Solskjaer has now provided the latest team news, positive CoronaVirus virus result, and players set to leave.

Pellistri Positive CoronaVirus Result

He said: “Well, I think we’ve followed all the required protocols as we should, and Facundo Pellistri still tested positive, as he said on Twitter.

“We don’t always say which player tested positive but Facundo is doing fine and hopefully he’ll get back to football soon.

“He’s played with our reserves and 23s team and wasn’t really in the team over Xmas. Apart from that, we have a fully fit squad.”

Players Set To Quit Manchester United

Solskjaer confirmed: “Marcos and Sergio have contracts until the end of the season and it won’t be extended.

“We are hoping for them to find the right clubs, Marcos has had time to go home, so he’s currently in Argentina now.

“Sergio has gone home too but he will return England to sort out his future.

“They understand the situation as professionals, and working hard and ready. Marcos must first travel and do the quarantine before.”

Amad Diallo

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to decide if new signing Amad Diallo will join the first-team immediately.

He added: “He’s not been in the training group, it’s the last paperwork so he can join us.

“There’s lots of expectations on Amad. He’s an exciting player with brilliant attributes as we look to developing and giving him a chance to succeed here at Manchester United.

“It’s important that gets the right time to settle in, if it’s with the 23s for his first few matches, or if he goes straight into the first team, I am not sure.”

Ighalo To Play In FA Cup Game

Solskjaer explained: “Odion has a special thing against Watford, he will play, he’s part of the squad, he’s trained really well.

“He’s not lost his quality, it’s difficult for him to not be included in the squad so many times because he did well until the summer.”
