Chelsea Ready To Smash Transfer Record To Sign BVB Star Erling Haaland

Chelsea are ready to break their transfer record again this summer to sign Borussia Dortmund Star Erling Haaland, MySportDab reports.

Erling has been sensational again this season, scoring 12 goals from 11 Bundesliga games so far.

However, Despite Chelsea being interested in his signature, Real Madrid have more advantage.

Chelsea spent massive this summer on Timo Werner, and some other players but they have failed to perform this season.

Werner has scored only four goals from 18 Premier League games this season, with Frank Lampard struggling to keep him in the team.

Chelsea could also lose Olivier Giroud at the end of the season, with the France international’s contract expiring very soon.

Youngster Tammy Abraham has struggled to keep his place in the Starting XI at Stamford Bridge.

With the above problems, Chelsea are ready to sign Haaland when the summer transfer window opens.

Manchester United’s interest in the Norwegian Striker is nothing new, with Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a huge fan of the player.

Now, According to The Athletic, Chelsea are confident they can pay enough for the striker’s signature.

MySportDab understands that Chelsea are ready to offer Dortmund a larger fee this summer.

The Blues are aware that some clubs will try to wait until 2022 when his release clause becomes £66m to sign him.

However, Chelsea are prepared to do everything possible to bring Haaland to West London this summer, but, would he join them?

Reports suggest that Haaland is more interested in a move to Real Madrid, with the La Liga club keen to strengthen their attack.

Chelsea would also have to negotiate with Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, who sealed Romelu Lukaku’s 2017 move to United.

Lukaku was Chelsea’s top transfer target under Antonio Conte at the time.

But, Lukaku signed for Manchester United instead, and left for Italy after two years.

Haaland is expected to combine with Timo Werner upfront if he joins Chelsea at the end of the season.
